Great Outcome in Chesterfield Traffic Court

Today in Chesterfield General District Court, I defended my client against a reckless driving charge he received on Route 288 in Chesterfield County, Virginia. As with all reckless driving charges, my client was charged with a misdemeanor which carries the potential for jail time, license suspension, and a fine of up to $2500. This was a charge that needed to be handled carefully.

Fortunately, my client had a clean driving record, which is typically the biggest factor with the judges who sit in Chesterfield. Even with a clean record, a dismissal is a difficult outcome to attain. I was sure to be well prepared for trial in order to fight for his charge to be dismissed.

When it came time for trial, I was able to work out a deal for the charge to be completely dismissed. See case result below.
